A winter scene in the Dales. Looking towards Ingleborough from Sulber Nick. Climbs of Ingleborough start from Horton or Ribblehead. We run these walks throughout the year.

Wharton Hall in the valley visited on walks from Kirkby Stephen. A favourite venue for many easier walks.

Other Events 2008

3 January - Horbury Circular (Thursday Walk)

The first Thursday walk of the year and it's snowing as we stride our way round Horbury via Caphouse Colliery and New Hall Prison. The scenery varied from industrial archaeology to rolling fields to quiet snow-free woods where we took refuge from time to time. An interesting journey and a good Bistro at the end! Thanks to Christina and David for sparing the time before shooting southwards.
